This is the thinking I am employing now when I say that I'm going to take a break from the furry fandom for a while. This might come as a bit sudden to you all (especially with the call for characters I did only yesterday), but it's something I've been considering for well over a week, culminating in my night of quiet, introspective mood.
Allow me to clarify that this is not a "I'm leaving the fandom forever" or a call for attention. I'm well aware that the escape velocity needed to leave the atmosphere of the furry fandom is greater than that needed to leave the Hotel California, nor is this journal coming from any desire for attention or reinforcement - I just want to inform folks that I'm not going to be around for a while.
I'm not going to be on FA, @blubberbat or on WLM/MSN or AIM for an indeterminate amount of time. I may return in days, I may return in months. Who knows.
If you're desperate to continue talking to me in the intervening time, I can still be found @verygrey, @bronygrey (where most of my usually fuzzy tweets will probably be going), on Tumblr, Facebook and even Google+.
