A fur called Dj Temper. He is trying to get me removed because of "copyright infringement" yet all the tracks I use are paid for by me andthe recordcompany who produced my album.

He is probably jealous.

Are you allowed to showcase your mixing work in a public area?

As a mashup artist, I neither give or receive money for the stuff I mix. Everything I make is free and I never ask recording companies for permission at all. There's no real harm done to anyone so why are people getting al upset about copyright infringment. I give credit to the actual artists and I don't even use whole songs a lot of times. It's almost like advertisment for them. Why are people so tight fisted about these things?

I dunno. See the reason I sold CDs is because I bought the rights to do so. They claim I am just ripping the tracks and posting them. They didnt even ask me they went behind my back and made a thread on the FA forum, claiming Im a thief.

Meh Its gonna take weeks for my recording agency to come up with the paperwork. Then its gotta be mailed to me. Then I gotta send it to my friend so he can scan it and then show the admin here.

According to copyright law, you can use any copyrighted work for free (assuming you have the initial license to possess it) for "parody" and the like. I used to have a link to the page...
