Been fairly off the reservation for the last while, but figured I'd give people who I haven't touched base with in a long while an idea of what's going on.
What had initially looked like a thyroid issue seems to have something to do with my liver. For those medically inclined, I've got raised iron and liver enzymes. So far the doc can't nail it down to anything specific, and I'm waiting until June to get an ultrasound. The doc has classified it as 'elective', thus I'm far down on the already stupidly long waiting list.
I survived another term of classes, waiting on my marks to arrive at the end of the week but I was notified that I passed everything. Now the lab work starts, to build the skills now that the theory's been covered. Joy of joys. Just hope that I don't have to move out to do the work terms, since they're only 10 spots in the city, with a class of 30. They'll want to ship us out all over the province.
Otherwise, I'm alive. Starting to take my Zen practice a little more seriously, delving into that more. Also trying to figure out what I'm really afraid of that keeps me from drawing anymore. Hiding the work's become second nature, so far as the paper goes. So what about it am I afraid of.
Anyways. Just so people don't think I'm dead. I will be trying to be around a little again, but no promises.
