So I'm sitting at work and I'm kinda bored. So I decide I'm gonna work on my Math and English homework and get it done early so I'm not rushing around later trying to get everything done and still get a good grade. Well As I start my Math someone comes in and starts talking to me, I have no idea what this guy is trying to say to me Because he's talking in one big circle it seems and I'm not supposed to talk because he wont let me say a single word. I finally just started doing my homework wile this guy talked to me and I was kind of ignoring him, Which I think a lot of people would do at that point. I happen to pause and turn to look at him as he smiles and says " Your the only girl who does what a girl is supposed to do. Since you are the perfect female and have stayed in your place for this whole conversation I will grant you the honor of my presence tonight at 10pm at Red Lobster. You may be the girl I marry." I sat there and stared at this guy before I started to giggle and narrowed my eyes at him, I think I scared him because one of the other customers said I actually growled at him I don't remember doing it. However at that point I Smiled tilting my head and told him exactly what I thought of it all. which narrowed down to me saying as pleasantly as possibly smile still on my face "That's lovely Sir however I will not honor you with my presence at that time or any other time at any point in either of our future's. Now that you are done talking let me speak as you did a few moments. I am not and will not be a silent housewife to anyone ever I have a brain and I wont let anyone try and tell me I'm stupid or that I should be barefoot and pregnant in the kitchen. Which it seems is what your looking for. I'm currently attending college for Criminal Justice. Which I can tell by the look on your face you don't approve of. Please do me a favor, don't talk to me like I'm stupid. Don't cut me off when I am talking. Its not the dark ages anymore, I am not your servant nor will I ever be. Please leave the store. Thank you very much Have a nice day Sir. " I don't know if he got mad or not... He sat there with a look on his face for a few minutes before he walked out of the store.
On some level I am kinda afraid he will come back and tell my boss I was rude to him and it could cause me to lose my job. However I'm also not into being talked down to or told girls should be silent and let the men talk even when its "conversing" with each other.
