As of around midnight yesterday, I could be out of a job for weeks to months... The retaining wall between where I work, the Gaylord Opryland Commissary, and the Cumberland river was overtaken. My place of work is under 10 feet of water right now and the connecting hotel is under 9 feet in its worst spots. There are no plans as of yet to offer us any kind of recompence or unemployment yet... They say their goal of reopening is Christmas... CHRISTMAS! What the hell do they think we're supposed to do in the meantime. We have families to support too, and bills to pay. We cannot afford to lose this much work.
