No this is nothing personal move on
Let me give you all some backgorund information, here in sweden it have long been illegal to directly or indirectly assist someone to commit suicide or end their life. A girl whom is called kim (her real name remains a secret) was 32 years old and have since 6 years of age been paralyzed and had respiration help to keep herself alive, so for 26 years she have been paralyzed and on life support.
In november or december last year she sent a mail to the goverment, explaining her will to die that she is in nothing but pain and as long as her mind is working she will forever wish to leave this world to relieve her own suffering and the strain her paralyzed state put on family and friends.
Two weeks ago she recieved a letter back that the assistances to her held up for her to read declaring that Kims doctors recieved the right to turn off the respirator for her after putting her into deep sleep. She said she was overjoyed by the news.
Now yesterday she was put to sleep and her mother, without a moment of hasitation, turned it off letting Kim to gain her will through and finally die. They said that during these few weeks kim had never been so happy in her life, having said her good byes to friends and family, fixed everything in her life that needed to be done for what she felt was the most important moment of her life.
Why am I telling this story? Simply something i think is right, when a person is in deep pain and suffering they shouldnt be forced to live anymore if they are deemed to be mentally healthy and have the right to end their suffering with or without help without objections. We humans have right to our life so why shouldnt we have the right to end it?
I dont think people should randomly kill themselves, or anyone should do it, we all hit bottoms, we all get problems, depressions and more. But a person whom is permanently sick and constnat pain should not have to suffer and like in this case it should be checked out, is the person healthy mentally and so on before anything is done. This is a case i think was done in accordance to the book

But who the hell wants to be stuck as a vegetable forever? Even if there is nothing of the person left inside, you know that no one should remain a husk of their former self.
