Backyard Brawlers (Adult Furry Role play combay game)

When the lion speaks, he roars cause that is what they do...
Undoubtedly you have seen and will see the art work of John Harrington in my gallery. He does not seem to be making much furry art publically any more but long ago he helped me with a project. The game only sold 9 copies and proved to me that I was never going to make any money writing in this community. Or at least not writing games of this kind.
Backyard Brawls was a game born of a personal protest against well most everything the Republican party and those on the religious right believed in. In particular their focus on attacking and hating on sexual issues and giving a pass on violence ones. Think about it. They are pro-guns and any other violent item but anti-sex. It drove me crazy. So I made a game that made them equal. The game had some dice mechanics and a person could take the role of one of the "Students of the Yamamoto Ichi Furry Finishing School" and do battle. The game was a mash up between adult (sexual) role playing and a fighting/wrestling role playing game. The way you won was by knocking out you opponent or making them orgasm. The very fact that the fighters are shown in very general audience ways was also important. Not only in game mechanics but also to show that revealing clothing or nudity did nothing to change the inherent potential for sexuality in a person or situation.
Nice thoughts right? No one got it. Hell the people on Something Awful managed not only not to get it but then cut us individual phases to misrepresent what I was saying. Good thing they didn't say it to my face as any writer can tell you how little I liked being misquoted. Later i came to the conclusion that though some persons liked my writing it was fairly useless to continue. I am back to writing for me and letting only me see most of the time.
