Pig-rabbit, yeah I see that...bird? I think it looks more like a lizard...atleast that's what I first saw...and the last one...beaver or platypus? I dunno. It's possible, since both those would be water-types...It seems mammalian in anyways..either that or reptilian.

Withs its little ears and flat roundish tail it seems very much like maybe a beaver or platypus...I'm hoping platypus because the last time they did beaver we got bidoof and I very much don't like bidoof XP and I could see see maybe it being a grass lizard....but don't they already have a grass lizard in treeko....

I don't see them reusing the same animal for the same type. they are pretty good at choosing a different type when using the same sort of animal. Like with lizard they went from fire to then grass and with turtle they have a water and grass.... but of course its all speculation at this point XD

Gotta bring one thing into question:

Why does the middle one have a sphere on the end of it's tail. Spheres in pokemon designs are usually attributed to water-type or aquatic-based pokemon (Marill, Dragonair) and sometimes psychic (Spoink)

So I am beginning to think the middle one is a water-type...

but what would the last one be then? It has flat, square feet..a flat tail..and those bumps.

well, I would think duck, but then you got those "ears"...unless we think of them as a design and not ears at all. They might be horns/spikes. It might be a saurian-type creature. It's really hard to choose. I think that might be fire though.

The First one is most likely a lizard or bird. We assume this because of the lack of ears, long snout, and curved body-shape. It has what appears to be leaves on it's tail, so we assume it's grass.


Imagine the starters were fire/grass, water/grass, water/fire...

Additionally: the middle one, I was looking closer at it. I don't think those are ears. the position (top-center of the head) just doesn't seem right. UNless of course, it was Usagi.

In the pokemon world you never know XD They throw anatomy all over the place with their creations XD

A platypus would be kind of neat, they don't really get enough screen time.

Wow, I honestly didn't think there was going to be a gen 5, I was sorta hoping for a game that had all 500+ Pokemon in it, but that would be A LONNNNNGGG Game! Still, I don't think I'll be able to play this, they only gaming console other than this computer is my xbox 360... :/
Oh well, my guess is that the first is fire, second is grass, even though the tail is sorta water type, and the third is water... but my Poke-ology is sorta off since I haven't played one of those games in a whlie!

Yeah I didn't think they would make more XD I mean what with last gen pokemon having what is essentially pokemon god....where else can you go ^^;

Honestly, I really don't understand why so many people seem to have viewed it as such. Sure they made a pokemon that's essentially god, but there's still plenty they haven't done. And they definately don't have to make pokemon that are stronger and stronger each time, proven by it took up until arceus for mewtwo to really be surpassed.

I think they are all kindof 'meh'. Hopefully the evolutions will be better. I think the fire pig is my favorite of the three.
