Sunday, I will be making a 3.5 hour drive to Murfreesboro, TN, for a 5 week intense program of nothing but music. However, my focus will be the instrument I have played for 7 going on 8 years, the Double Bass. This is a school, not some summer music program you pay money to attend. This is an all expense paid learning experience. For even a spot, you have to audition among many or a few. I was one of five double bassists to audition, and now I am either 1 of 3, or 1 of 2 bassists who have shown proficiency in skill and want for a chance at this school. Wish me luck.
