Well, they may pay for the damages up to a point. But it appears that we have to be the ones who get rid of the tree and pay for it to be hauled off. Fortunately, we think we know somebody with a chainsaw who might do the job for cheap. And fortunately, just by looking at the house, it doesn't look like too much damage was done.

So far. But, like, it's not completely down. The tree kind of split in half (HOW DOES THAT HAPPEN?) and the half that fell is like... doing this creaky I'm-gonna-fuck-yo-shit-up dance with me. X_X

And HAHAHA. The only way this monster is gonna lift back up is if a tornado carries it off. Or we somehow tie the tree back together.

Well, my dog got stuck in it, but I got him out and he's fine now. He's sitting on the porch with his li'l tail stub wagging, 'cause he gets to sleep in lawn chairs. Aside from that, it mostly is just... uh, me watching it very carefully.

Like, it's pretty much gored the roof and almost took out my air conditioner, but aside from that it's just leaning against the house, uncomfortably close to some wires. It's not COMPLETELY fallen, though.

Trying to find somebody who can cut it before the weight of what HAS fallen brings the whole thing down. X_X
