Depends on quality. $5-$!5 for low rank or $15 higher for high quality. Most set prices differently but thats a usuall range.

Prints just don't sell much. If you want to see them move, I wouldn't breach $15 or so. More is understandable if they are matted.

Matted, you mean like on photo paper? All my prints are. I can't imagine selling a print on standard letter; I don't think it could handle all the ink! :P

I figure if an artist makes prints int he first place, they've gotta at least make back what they spent to print em.
and prints shouldnt be crazy expensive either, even if its a masterpiece painting, its still just a print.

I recall some of the more popular artists selling prints for up to $30 at the FC before last, but I got an AMAZING quality print from dark natasha for only $20!
The thing looked almost like an original, so mcuh so taht someone stole it :T

Unless the print is of especially high quality with only a limited number ever going to be made, I'd say about $5.

Prints aren't worth much, when you really think about it. There's only so much you can do with them. You can frame and hang a few on the walls (depending on the subject matter), but other than that they tend to sit in file folders for years. It's just easier to browse images that you can organize on the computer.

Myself, I've seen and quite liked a few images of otters and orcas swimming in the water. But those still haven't found their way onto my wall :(

Bigger things, things which are matted, or gicle (sp) are obviously going to be higher.

as said 5-10 for a BnW print.. 10-15 for color if the artist's style appeals to me.

For a print of a high quality picture, I usually expect to see a price tag of $15-$25.

From what I've seen its been between 10 and 20 or so. There are a few that charge more, but I think its ridiculous.

Kinkos prints: $5-$20 depending on how popular an artist.
Giclee prints: $15-35, similarly

$5-$10 for someone I'm not familiar with.

No more than $10 max. If I want to spend larger amounts of money on something not drawn for me I'll usually look to the art show.

Around 10 bucks, that's average. It does depend on the quality of course - and i don't mean the quality of the art (though that matters, but generally if an artist is making prints their art is at least semi decent) ...the biggest factor is the quality of the paper in my opinion. I wouldn't buy one if it was on flimsy paper, like regular printer paper... 60lb paper or better. Some nice smooth, heavy bright-white matte paper... that is my favourite. Glossy is kind of annoying, but that's just a personal preference. ...but yeah, flimsy paper isn't very professional.

I sell my prints for $8, or three for $20. ...but that's a little lower than average i think.
