I'm not scared to say it wasn't all that, just because its furry [+ I'm a furry] doesn't automatically mean it has to be put on a pedestal

And if you're refering to Rotton tomatoes or Metacritic, I take there thoughts with a rather large pinch of salt

The people have already spoken, its a good film that does live up to the hype, regardless if a small pportion of people don't like it. Opinions are fine and all, just stating what non-furries are saying

There's also the kind of people that don't like a film JUST because of the hype, they besically walk into the theater judging it before it starts

Well, Chicken Little was a movie about the one person who was wise above all others. Zootopia had 'acceptance' and respect.

As for your Patreon question, I would be interested in seeing a Patreon containing both, as I enjoy both artistic means.

One thing that some of the artists I support do that I like is the tiered system, in which some of the tiers open the possibility for winning a sketch or regular commission slot, or build up to a commission slot. Though, I must admit this option is simply appealing to me because I can afford the higher tiers with such opportunities, but I do not have the time due to my career to be online when some of my favorite artists release commission slots, and get filled within 15 minutes.

But, I'm fairly new to this, as I've only just developed and commissioned my Sona and started to support artists on Patreon, so there is that

I saw it's at 100% on Rottentomatoes with 91 reviews. Apparently it's the best reviewed movie of the year so far.

I wouldn't paywall it. If people can't see my art, how would I get new patrons?. More likely I'd let patrons see the works-in-progress, and maybe I'd post it a bit early for them. Also have ideas for suggestion boxes and commission raffles.

I've been lucky enough to have seen it two weeks ago (in France it was aired on feb the 17th), and indeed it's fabulous, on many many aspects.
Didn't see any trailers, and happy I didn't. I love going to see a movie ignoring everything.
