Much Needed Day of Resting

Yesterday I came home from work early...because I just couldn't function at work any longer I was exhausted.
Luckily, my supervisor is way cool and told me to go home, eat and get some rest.
...which I did! ^_^
But, today the exterminator had to return to finish the job they started the last time. So, once again, I had to vacate the premises. I packed up my cat and headed downstairs to the lobby and brought my sketchbook and did a few random drawings which are in my gallery.
*yawns*
I am still a bit sleepy and would love to take a nap, truthfully. But, I'm supposed to be going out in a little bit. *yawns again* Ah well, hopefully I'll be home soon and can get some more sleep before heading to work tomorrow.
If all goes well, I should be able to jump on commissions on Sunday, since I'm off, then. But, my manager scheduled me to work from Monday - Saturday from like 10am - 7pm...so, I'm gonna be wiped out next week! X___X But, the good news is that the week after that is Anthrocon. HOORAY! I'll be on a train for 8 hours so if the ride is steady, I may be able to get, at least, the pencils down and can ink the commissions that I have to work on when I get back

How did Azul take to the temporary relocation?
And Azul was fine. He whined a little bit at first, but then he realized that I was sitting with him and quieted down
*giggles softly*
It's awesome to know that you still got the Anthrocon week off from work, too! Although after the things you told us, I kind of have a vision now of a Kitty sitting through an 8 hour train ride with a sketch pad on her knees and a pencil resting on the paper... and her head slumped against the window as she's all asleep from the steady k-thunk k-thunk k-thunk of the train wheels Oh, if that happens, I so hope someone will have a camera at hand...
But, yeah, I'm really happy that they're still giving me time off for AC and even though the hours are rough, I'm really happy for getting all this time at work, too!
*giggles*
Yes, I can imagine that! After all, tiring as it might be, but many hours means many moneys too! And well, of course you had been planning for this trip for a good while already, even before you got the full hours, so you had a right for the trip, but it's still good that they also acknowledged that and let you go! Wheee!
Ah, that is good to know... but hoo boy, I do hope I didn't put any ideas into his mind now! Don't let him read this!
*nodnods and smiles*
You're right, too, it's only fair to let you have this trip since you've been planning it for a year already. But even so, I know of companies who bypass such fairness when situations arise within the company and they need their workers for extra shifts and such... but it sounds like you have the right kind of boss!
But still, don't get yourself too exhausted, we still want you to have fun at AC!
I'm glad your boss is nice. Nice bosses make even the toughest job more bearable.
