I'd hate to grave dig your comment, but I gotta say. Not everything about the xbox 360 is crap. They completely redesigned the motherboard so red rings pretty much don't exist anymore.

That plus there are a lot of good games. The Gears of War series and 95% of the Halo series are prime examples. The other 5% being Halo Wars, which was a rushed piece of shit.

Lol @ other 5. But seriously, they shouldnt have had red rings in the first place. Secondly, Halo would have done just as good had it been done on the Playstation. If you look at why Halo went to Xbox, one only has to look at why the Iphone is so popular, name brand. Halo saw Microsoft, with their new Xbox and said wow this is from a huge company, theyre bound to have microsoft loyal customers. Halo was a good series, but think for a tiny second about the killing they would have made had a Playstation version been made. The Xbox only kept pace with PS because of such games. People bought the Xbox to play halo, People bought the PS because they loved the system. Notice how even with standalone wonders like Halo and Gears, Xbox didnt end up the undisputed king of systems. PS was able to run them for their money with no massive hits, unless you count the FF series which really wasnt much by the time PS3 came out anyway lol.

In short, yes it has good games, but even with games that are oh so nut bustingly good, they arent leading the industry. Also to mention is the simple fact that when placed side by side, PS can outperform the Xbox, plain and simple. Therefore, PS is literally the better system.

No actually I looked it up and Microsoft was the one who saw Halo and bought the rights to it before they could finish programming it for the Apple Mac.

They started it as a game for the Macintosh back in 1999. But Microsoft bought the rights to it mid development so they had to take all the code they'd already written and port it to the xbox, which is why it took them to 2001 to finish it.

Also the PS3 might be a more powerful system but recently Sony took away all incentive for me to get one when they removed Linux. And their online service might be completely free, but that's the reason why their online service sucks so much. It's buggy. And because of one of those bugs, a few months back all the old fat ps3 users found themselves unable to log in. Plus there isn't as much DLC content since the Sony PS Network doesn't have as much support for indie developers. I mean, they only recently added support for Rock Band Network when Xbox LIVE has supported Rock Band Network for months now.

this game looks good but when i think about it, it doesnt look that interesting, a truly wonderful experience would be interactive furry porn viewed through virtual reality glasses (a real thing) with motion sensing suit (real thing) that you can actually feel with a combination of air pressure suit (real thing) and a brainwave generator (again, real thing).... murrs at feeling furry porn, even if it's not very realistic, it'll get there.
wow technology has devoloped from chunky 2 inch thick laptops with no internet that are only good for storing written memos, to virtual reality glasses, 3d tvs and motion sensing boxes. wow. and all this has happened in only about 10 years.

It will develop to the point that not only can you interact without a control device, but you will get tactile feedback (haptics) this is the beginning of the Holodeck being brought into reality. Already scientists have discovered a way to use sonic fields to make holograms feel 'solid'. Eventually sensations will be replicated, weight and mass emulated. I don't know if the rest of you have noticed but the advancements in computer science and technology in general has been speeding up and many things only seen in ghost int he shell are becoming quite real. the world is going to be a very different place in 20 to 40 years. I suggest you all prepare.
