[01] Do you have the guts to answer these questions and re-post as The Controversial Survey?
Yes yes...
[02] Would you do Meth if it was legalized?
I would celebrate what would have to be the end of prohibition, but it's far too damaging for everyday use. Under the ideal Full Regulation circumstances I imagine it would only be used in small doses in medical emergencies that require massive painkilling and stimulation - I imagine you could use it to stop someone going into a coma, for example.
[03] Abortion: for or against it?
For. Far too much human misery has resulted from unwanted pregnancies. No-one should have the right to force a foolish young girl or a victim of rape to have a child they don't want. That doesn't tend to work out well for either party in those circumstances. Even if we're talking adoption immediately afterwards, the woman will never be the same physically or psychologically. Yes, we do lose the person that fetus could have been, but we can also prevent the potential ruination of two lives. Also, a fetus is not aware until it actually develops a large enough brain. When it HAS, abortion is then no longer an ethical option.
[04] Do you think a country would fail with a female president?
Well, the UK did have Margaret Thatcher for a Prime Minister for 11 years and two wars. She did do her job, Britain certainly didn't fail, but she proved that women leaders can be just as ruthless and heartless and any man. Heavy industry was all but completely closed down in Britain in the name of change and enormous unemployment problems still linger as a result. Perhaps we are better off as a result but it's hard to forgive the closure of coal mines that were still making a profit. Overall... I'd say that the gender of your ruler doesn't make much of a difference at all. My Mother certainly came to that conclusion and regretted voting for a Conservative.
[05] Do you believe in the death penalty?
Certainly not. Revenge is never a worthy action. Punishment is, but death is not punishment, death is escape. If someone truly deserves to suffer for something unforgivable, like mass murder or a campaign of rape, they should frankly be made to rot in jail - preferably in isolation - for the rest of their natural life. I know many people beleive in hell, but its frankly undesirably existence is not proven.
[06] Do you wish marijuana would be legalized already?
Naturally. I beleive that all recreational substances should not be outright prohibited, but rather properly controlled and regulated. Prohibition merely gives money to some very bad people and causes many drugs to be unsafe through contamination and/or uneducated usage. Drug education is presently done dogmatically rather than scientifically.
[07] Are you for or against premarital sex?
Of course. Marraige makes no difference to a person's natural hormones.
[08] Do you believe in God?
I am not convinced of the existence or non-existence of any divine presence whatsoever. I particularly have no trust however, in anyone who tells me they can speak for such a being, meaning simply that I do not trust priests or prophets of any religion. I don't beleive any mortal can speak for the divine.
[09] Do you think same sex marriage should be legalized?
Marraige is a term loaded with religious significance. I'm perfectly happy with what we do have in the UK - Civil Partnerships. Same concept, more appropriate name, none of the religious significance. I like it.
[10] Do you think it's wrong that so many Hispanics are illegally moving to the USA?
The USA is literally a nation founded on immigration. The current occupants certainly have less reason to complain then the indigents that their ancestors displaced.
[11] A twelve year old girl has a baby, should she keep it?
Up to her - but it should be under supervision if she does.
[12] Should the alcohol age be lowered to eighteen?
It's eighteen here (or fourteen at home with the consent of parents) and I don't beleive it causes problems. Frankly, prohibition merely breeds rebellion anyway. Most people are done with puberty at eighteen and frankly, it's all downhill with your body from there anyway.
[13] Should the war in Iraq be called off?
Setting aside the conspiracy theories that the whole thing is merely an attempt to kick-start the never-ending war described in 1984, frankly the whole thing has come too far to come back now. If everyone just gave up and went home now, the whole thing would have been for nothing. That is unacceptable.
[14] Assisted suicide is illegal: do you agree?
Frankly, there are many circumstances in which the illegality of Asssisted Suicide is morally reprehensible. People should be able to choose if they want to die or not. Nor should anyone be made to exist as a vegetable who knows only pain.
[15] Do you believe in spanking your children?
Frankly, children need discipline. There's certainly going too far to consider, but we've definitely proven that not doing enough is as big an issue. We presently have a generation who have grown up without fear of punishment. That is not natural.
[16] Would you burn an American flag for a million dollars?
Naturally! Don't expect me to pretend that I'm burning anything other than a piece of cloth though.
[17] Who do you think would have made a better president? McCain or Obama?
Please, you're asking me whether I'd rather see a Democrat or a Republican in the American Presidency? Frankly, it's just nice to see the American people get something vaguely resembling proper healthcare.
[18] Are you afraid others will judge you from reading some of your answers?
Heheh, of course. I alternate between self-consciousness and brashness constantly.

I was going to do this when I saw Xiv post it the other day, but I suffered one of my regular total enthusiasm failures. I probably should do it, but I just know I'd wind getting e-lynched.
