I had a similar issue (no physical contact) with a crow. I was apparently between it and something it wanted, so it went right past me, cawing with every step. xD
I guess I'm kinda the opposite. I used to draw in nothing but sketchbooks, but I don't anymore. It's kinda depressing, but nowadays I feel that if I'm going draw anything, even if it's just a sketch, I need to actually finish it, or at least ink it. I can't just doodle anymore. I'm not sure what it is, maybe a weird perception that I don't have *time* to sketch random things. My own fault, really.
I like this guy. He's got an interesting journal, and you always manage to link to the really good articles.
I can't draw on sketchbooks; they lack a CTRL and Z button.
That, and putting pen to paper scares the living [censored by myself] out of me, for some reason. I don't mind moving vertices, UVs, edges, polygons, lights, textures, etc... all day long, but drawing is just something I can't seem to be able to do. x_x
At least, my wacom/tabletPC help me out with this: I don't feel like I'm "drawing" more like changing pixel colours. Maybe it's the whole "pencil and paper" thing.
Was still a very interesting read (and I know someone who's always drawing no matter what, too! He comes to our furry brunches every 2 weeks and just churns out stuff. XD)

Strange that he got hit in the head by a crow. o.o
However, if it is absent, I manage to find little scraps of paper and doodle rather amusing things that happened.
I've recently picked my sketchbook up after about a month or more 'away' from it... I must say it does feel nice to have it in my hands again.
I have this big old sketchbook that is too unwieldy, I should get a smaller one so I don't fill up Mek's
I love how he impersonated about the beach. He drew sand dunes. 'GRab your pencils and erasers! We are going to draw!'
Very fun read though!
