Anthrocon 2010 Was a Blast!

After returning from Pittsburgh, I had aching shoulders, a painful leg, flu symptoms, severe tiredness and two popped ears from changes in flying altitudes. And I just slept for 28 hours. But I'm still in one piece, and I'd do it all again in a snap!

I'm going to post a couple of photos to Scraps, so don't panic.

Glad you had a good time! I really wanted to go this year, lots of people there I wanted to meet and a paleo theme to boot.

Aye, I understand that. Although... even though Gurney was the guest of honor, and a select few items like name badges and hotel keycards were Dinotopia-themed, it didn't really affect the rest of the con that much, so I wouldn't say you missed out on anything you can't see another year.

Yeah, but I missed out on Gurney... that's the main reason I wanted to go. :< Bowrll got a custom badge drawn and signed by him of her Baryonyx character. Omg, I could have gotten a quick Ixerin drawing from Gurney! That would have made my year.

Awwrr... Well I'm sure this won't be the last public event he goes to. I would tend to agree that a Gurney deinonychus would have looked a lot better. ^..-

PS. I saw someone at AC who was sculpting a feathered raptor and thought "Hmm... That looks familiar." The reference sketches he had beside him confirmed my suspicions. Me? Obsessed much? o..o
