Not the adaptor this time, judging from what I'm being told from numerous sources, the motherboard has just up and died. I'm computerless, potentially for several months - kind of bad considering I'm starting a degree in website design in September.
My family doesn't have the kind of disposable income to buy a new computer, or repair the current one. I don't have huge savings, the family don't have huge savings (less than £100, seriously).

I get my first Maintenance Allowance payment on September 20th, but after rent payments for that term I'm only left with under £500 to last expenses for 3-4 months.
