well at least you didnt do something as stupid as my mother ... alright you know when yo bake a pie, there are these rings you can sit on the pie crust edge to keep it from getting too dark? well my mother bought one made out of silicone and put it in the oven on a pie. the timer went off after 30mins at 450; she opened the oven reached in and grabbed the ring with a bare hand x.x;

Use aloe vera, preferably straight from the stem. It heals burns!

I once burned my hand with a heated lid, it wasn't pleasant. Here, maybe this will ease the pain. :3

Yikes. I got that once but not on a frying pan. More on buring my hand with one of those electrical thingies to melt solder. Instead of melting solder, it melted my hand. Skin was pelling off and could practically see the flesh.

When I was like 5 I placed my entire hand on a hot stove burner... I had rings burnt into my hand for a month, what a painful memory... >.> Burn's suck

Feel feel better guy. I've have a pretty bad burn that runs up my forearm, so I know how it is.

This is precisely why I refuse to buy cookware without insulated handles, because I know someday I'm not going to be paying attention and exactly that will happen. When I briefly had a roommate who had copper cookware, as nice as it was the handles were just bare metal, so I didn't use them.

I did that once, shortly after buying a cast iron skillet. It owied for like 4 days. :(

Car cigarette burners. As a kid (4-5 years old) I stuck my forefinger in one. A portion of my finger print on that finger is mangled up still.

LIDODERM PATCHES MAKE BURNS GO AWAY. (atleast you cant feel them)

I grabbed the rack in the oven with a towel that slipped in my hand. 400 degrees of steel rod across four fingers. I cut a lidoderm patch into strips and wrapped em around my fingers like bandaids, then electrical taped em to keep them on. No more burny feel. I <3 lidoderm patches.

Hot damn. Seriously, invest in an aloe plant. Just cut off a tiny piece of the leaf and squeeze it on. Works great.
