This is my 1983 Postal Mail Jeep which is a AM General DJ-5 jeep. It was my very first vehicle growing up. I drove it until the engine blew up and decided to put a 1979 Chevy 305 small block V8. With a 400 turbo transmission. I'm still in the process of getting everything working. The rebuilding of the engine took the entire winter, and when summer came I put the engine and transmission in one day. I'm always busy working on things so this is still a on going project. This video shows some of the destruction of pulling and replacing the engine.
