With what i've seen of your Goof Troop work its a series you would love. The plots are kinda lame but the character design is cute and though you said you don't like to do techie their outfits are more like light up pieces of armor then anything sci-fi.

Burn/Ed is one I'd peg but theres also this one guy (who's name escapes me) that is an absolute FREAK and hilarious...he'd make anyone a cute boy/boy couple ^_^

Just something to think about....Plus the theme music kicks ass.
