After a long period of low standards and low sanity, and following an ugly fall-out with my former boss/landlord that's left me owed $1500 back pay and prompted me to pursue punitive action with the Labor and Contractor's boards, I have moved out of the dilapidated church I was inhabiting for the past six months. In a disgruntled letter to the aforementioned slumlord/deadbeat, I refer to the quarters as a "shithole deathtrap." What took me so long? Who knows. I tried to inspire changes that I should have seen were impossible.

What's fucking RAD is that I now live in a 30' diameter yurt on an 80 acre ranch. My landlord couple are an organic gardener and professional dancer (her) and psychedelic folk visual artist/ordained priest of the Native American Church (him). In addition to amenities previously forgone (shower, sink with hot water, laundry facilities, et al) I also have access to: an organic garden and orchard, a creek with a swimming hole, a giant trampoline, a hammock, a bevy of art, craft and carpentry tools, and frequent sweat lodges and peyote prayer services. WUT?
