Muro--Another banal example of DA's money-mongering BS
15 years ago
General
This is the beginning of my Journal.
So they got a whole bunch of popular artists (poparts anyone?) to whore out this Muro. A shitty, poor function web-based art-making THING. An Oekaki? And then, if you want the full functionality of the brushes, you have to buy points to purchase them? Is this seriously what they've stooped to? I'm ashamed to see it, I really am. I used to enjoy DA and actually made a few friends on there (not sure I can honestly say I the same about FA), but it's bustling with artists, camwhores, and people trying to shill their arts and crafts like it was a flea market. I used to find something to fav every day, but I guess because of the exposure, I don't fav anything anymore. Hell, I fav something on FA maybe once a month. I guess I'm getting jaded.
But this Muro makes me rage because it goes against the Deviant portion of Deviant art. It's a business, I understand that, but this is truly the point where fella's sold out so completely that he might as well turn his soul over to the devil now. I don't think closing my gallery at DA would make a difference but I don't know that I'll be using it anymore. I think I'm just going to use it as a means of looking up coloring tutorials, I guess.
So whatever..

Maybe if I had the time to just
practiceidly doodle around without the aim of posting the result.I'm on FA because here's where most of the decent art in the Furry fandom seems to congregate.
And on Pixiv because.. well.. learning Japanese through browsing Japanese images seemed like a good idea at the time. ^-^;
Meanwhile, if friends are needed, I'm always up for some conversation.
