Kylie Minogue, she's a very gifted singer originally from Australia. She's a very big deal there and in the UK and many other parts of the world. As is the sad state of things, international music, most especially their gifted female singers, never quite hit it as big here in the States as they do outside. It's a shame, we miss out on a lot of great music because of this phenomenon.

I usually stay away from mainstream pop but she collaborated with Nick Cave, so she gets points for that. I don't think I've ever heard any of her other stuff though.
