I just got back from my first convention ever, and let me tell you, it was a blast! 4 days of being in in an executive suite with good friends that I've known for years, as well as some of their friends that I hadn't met until then. Our days pretty much consisted of wandering around the main convention hall looking at all the art and people walking around cos-playing, with my friends cos-playing as the Mario Brothers, a moogle, and a generic monk. While I didn't take many pictures, my friends took hundreds, many of which I want copies of, including the pictures we took when we set up plushie lovin' scenes with a bowser plushie, a generic white teddy bear, and multiple empty Bawls and Ramune bottles out of sheer boredom. I went to the con with 120+ dollers, and spent every last cent. I got a bamboo hat for 10 bucks that I later let a friend borrow, who lost it, a print of Vincent Valentine for 5 bucks, as well a a print of Cloud Strife for a friend, one large 'battle fan' which was a very belated birthday gift for my friend Nikki, it was 45 bucks, and a commission of my fursona for 5 bucks on the last day of the con by Prowl. His website is at http://furnation.com/ProwlsOnline/ . In return for the fan, I was able to get another commission from Aradia on the second day of the con. Getting it inked cost me 20 bucks, while it was very good, I didn't quite like it as well as the commission I got later. The rest of the money was spent on food I believe. I plan to scan both commissions and load them up onto my gallery when I actually get home.
