Questions, questions! [and update]
So, I love using my Prismas. But I have some questions. It always looks like amateur colouring, so obvious it's pencil crayons..... How do I make it smooth? My blending sticks don't always do the best job on that....is it the paper im using maybe?
Someone help walk me through the process or something, not asking for a tutorial to be made...(unless you want to make one...) but just a little help please?
I googled tutorials, and got nothing that really helped me. The few I saw were nice, but didn't exactly help me with what i wanted.(shading mostly)
So I weighed in again today, and I KNOW weight fluctuates, but I was happy to see me being down in the 130s again! 138.7 to be exact. :D
Been downloading music, made a page on tastekid(www.tastekid.com) It's a pretty neat site, go check it out!
If you know anything good, doooo share!
Uhm, hmm. Still doing commissions, I want to get my fursuit sooner!
Cheap prices, so if you can afford a few dollars, please do!
(pushing badges, i want to make as many as i can haha)

So, what Ive found is that the more layers you do, the better the colored pencils look. you start out with one layer and it looks like colored pencils, you do two, it looks a little better. 3? youre getting there. just more and more and more. rely on the mixing of colors for shades, rather than the pencils themselves. make the colors dark and rich, relying on the lighter colors to be the light and the darker colors to be the dark. Also, try not to mix mediums if you want it to look genuine. you can do it!

also, white pencil is your friend! you can do twenty layers in white and then do ONE light layer with a color to get just the barest hint. The blending pencils dont work too well unless you have a LOT to blend (because its mostly waxy, and the moving of the colors would be more inclined to tear the paper if you tried hard enough to move them without a lot of color
