How is Israel perceived from over there?

A-ha-ha! You are as PRESUMPTUOUS as you are POOR and IRISH.
I'm just wondering because many people tend to ask me questions which sound kinda silly to me. D:
So far, I saw people asking or stating that Israel is:
- Poor: Not really. If it was a poor country, how could I afford a home, good PC, 2 TVs, a mobile phone and an Internet connection? Clearly it isn't poor.
- Violent: The only violence I have seen before my eyes so far were cats fighting and silly school fights that get seperated very soon.
Wars do not apply, because wars were always violent everywhere.
- Racist towards Arabic people: Not really, they are walking around freely in the streets and I have 3 arabic classmates that I get along with just fine.
- Technologically underdeveloped: Let's see... I have a Sony Ericsson Yari phone, a Wacom Bamboo tablet, a PC that can run today's games and an Internet connection. Is that old technology?
So how is Jewland perceived from over there? Is it anything from the list above or something new?
I just want opinions, anything.

From the mainstream media that gets brainwashingly broadcast here, people think Israel is some poor, broken down, war torn, undeveloped country that has nukes hiding under ever house and is ready to blow some shit up. Then again, most people I know don't even know where Israel is. They think "Oh, Israel, that's some terrorist country." Cuz everything in the middle east = terrorist town. :|
It sickens me.
... the media, on the other hand, well... I remember a point in time involving rocket attacks on Israel (including civilians), and the media saying close to nothing about that, and then Israel shooting back and our media basically screaming "How DARE you defend yourself!?" Yeah, heh, gotta love CNN... :oP
You guys put up with more crap than you deserve, and not just from our media...
Apparently, "they say" that there are no Furries in Israel... no idea where THAT originated, but I keep hearing it every now and then... I know that's a big fat lie, though...
Out of curiosity, do you know anyone else there who's a Furry Fan?
I also saw 2 or so furries on Steam whose location is in Israel.
Anyway, Israeli furries aren't very common, but they exist.
