Pandemic Omega (Futuristic Roleplay Game)
It’s the year 2123, Humanity has seeded colonies away from the Sol System, Into Epsilon Eridani
Alpha Centauri and Tau Ceti. Scientific advances have been made in the fields of weaponry, Faster than
light travel and genetics. In 2075, FTL was stumbled upon and thus allowed humanity to colonize the
systems surrounding them. In Genetics, scientists took human DNA and spliced it with animals, which
they call Lycans. Lycans are sentient animals which are just part of normal day life. Although, playing god
has a price. In the development of a new species, an unintentional virus came from the scraps. It’s
commonly referred to as Pandemic Omega(Omega meaning the only serious medical threat, that’s the
last to be conquered.) P.O Is a sentient virus, which is transferred through bites and saliva. The Virus
first compromises the hosts nervous system, then corrupts the brain of the individual. It erases the
memory and changes the body chemistry of the subject.
This horrifying process then inserts the virus into the hosts body, takes over and makes a
Persona of it’s own design. The P.O virus is also known as the Vampire syndrome, Because of the
Sustenance in which the virus needs to thrive on. Blood. The feeding behavior also doubles as a
reproductive behavior, which broadens the virus’s reach. The government has taken action to
quarantine this syndrome, Which is where you come in. Are you up to being a guardian? A guardians
job is to safely take citizens to the outer protectorate worlds. Fight the Flood! It’s your duty.
