K....so
Yesterday, while watching the Packers win their opening football game, we saw a commercial for the KFC Double Down http://www.kfc.com/doubledown/
We decided that we HAD to try it out, so after the game we ran down to KFC. Let me tell you.
snowmeow and I both agreed it was the best damn sandwich we have had in years. It was so good, both of us were thinking about posting on livejournal about it without knowing the other one was thinking the same thing lmao. She conceded to me, as I don't post often.
It is somewhat high in fat, but OMFG is it worth it. Haven't tried the grilled version yet, but the Original Recipe is just plain awesome, albeit a little greasy from frying it. I would definitely recommend this sandwich over any other fast food sandwich, hands down. It is delicious, and definitely filling. You don't walk away thinking of getting some dessert to fill you up. 4.8/5 stars
On another food note. Tonight we tried a new, simple recipe. Hot dogs and shredded Mexican cheese blend wrapped up in crescent rolls, sprinkled with crushed tortilla chips, and baked. You dip it in nacho cheese and enjoy. Was a pretty good meal :]
