i want the ipad so bad xO id totally like to hear how it is for sketching as well, since i go to visit family its a 2 hour boring car ride

Basically the only major downside is no pressure sensitivity.

Exactly what I was going to say! She has several excellent reviews, some written, and at least one video. If not for her, I wouldn't know a whole lot about art on the iPod (don't have one).

I'd think you'd get more mileage out of a real touchscreen laptop that comes with it's own pen. You'd be able to use your own art programs on it (like Sai) and I think it has pressure sensitivity too.

And they'd be around the same price. The ipad is of course thinner, but you'd probably want something more versatile. More bang for your buck.

Good point. I wrote off the tablet PCs because at the time I wanted something to run Photoshop. Now that I'm using lots of SAI, I could probably get something decent enough to run that. At least with the ipad out, lots of other options are coming to market too.

i quite like what peeps can be capable of making from that DSi app thing, whatever its called or is. Dont really know cause ive never used it
