What is it with all the bums...? o.ó

So I log into Fur Affinity, as I do most days, to check up on submissions by the folks on my watch list, and I find a string of practically identical icon-sized pictures of bums... For sale, apparently.
Really? People are selling pictures of bums? Pictures that are identical, except for the colour scheme? And people are actually paying for these? Okay, it's not much and I appreciate that we're still in a recession, but really? Bum icons for sale? Bum icons that probably take no more than twenty minutes to recolour?
I first noticed these relatively cheap themed commissions a couple of months ago, and it didn't seem like such a bad idea. For instance, "I will draw your character in chibi style in a box". That's not so bad, because most of those pictures were still pretty different from one another. But this new bums thing that several artists seem to have jumped on really does seem, to me at least, to be taking the piss; "I've drawn line art of a bum and I'll recolour it to match any character of your choice for the low, low price of $3.50." I mean, really?
That said, perhaps it's a stroke of genius and the people who've jumped on the bums bandwagon are making a small fortune doing nothing more difficult than simply recolouring an existing piece of art. In which case, maybe I should jump on too...
