Okay, WTF is up with this damn AUP? I suddenly feel after a couple of notes from silverwolf I'm in Nazi germany. First my desktop picture is taken down for NO REASON other than it's not allowed in the AUP which makes no damned sense at all, then, after that, I'm told No more than 3 submissions for SL. I have like a total of what, 20 pictures in my whole gallery, if that??? six of which are SL if I'm not mistaken. MY FUCKING GODS get a life!!! This isn't Nazi germany! This makes me want to leave FA and never look back. If the admins are too busy worrying about bullshit that has ZERO fucking meaning rather than quelling the drama that floats around or worrying about people posting 30 pictures of SL in one go, then there are some serious re-evaluations that need to happen, ie, the admin staff.

Maybe they took off your desktop piccie because they thought you're using your char pic without Narse's permission? It could be, everything's copyrighted here....and for a reason too, but I don't know. My gallery is full of pictures of me made by others and I still uploaded them pics into my gallery instead of just showing a link and I still haven't received a single complaint.

I had a game screenshot (more accurately, a camera picture of a DS screen) taken down because NO GAME SCREENSHOTS! But it's not like I was showcasing the visuals of the game... far from it, the reason it was worth me posting at all is that I'd caused something funny to occur in the game, something which wasn't planned by the designers. I contributed to the image in that way, but still they wanted it removed.
At least for the SL part of it, it sounds like you just got caught on the low side of the 'law'.
They say "No more then 3 SL pics at a time." to stop the SL-whores from uploading albums worth of junk, but also annoy a lot of other users (like yourself) who happed to accidently post a few too many.

ANYHOW all that aside, just in case you didn't see my comment before the screenshot was removed, I don't think that Dawn of War will run on a laptop. It's got some respectable graphical demands and I don't think a built-in video card would be able to handle it. If you've got a PC that's only a couple years old and a respectable Video card, you shouldn't have problems running it on that.
Of course I could be COMPLETELY AND TOTALLY WRONG about that, but those are my thoughts on the matter. :P
I suppose it could be said the FA admins are simply trying to snip problems ahead of time that could result from said situations by imposing the all-covering ban on desktops and screenshots.
That's one theory at least.
Another could simply be they don't want hundreds of screenshots/desktops eating up HD space/bandwidth that could otherwise be dedicated to other art.
I suppose the only way to know definitively is to ask the admins themselves why the rules are the way they are.
And WTF about game screenshots? I also have three altered gamescreenshots in my gallery, and they aren't forbidden, even due to the fact, that at least ONE Admin watched when I posted them. And
BTW my WH40k: DoW showed the same error.^^
I fixed the it somehow and now i can play with my beloved Space Marines.
