So, you have something, a nice something that is no longer in production, can't be replaced and is a 'specialty' item though it is currently not in use. Someone else wants to use this item and to do so involves tearing it apart and then rebuilding it. Saying no gets all of your friends to tear into you and call you a bitch and such because you don't want to risk losing something that is irreplaceable. Logical?

though as for the friends throwing a fit; that's typical furries for you- they can't handle being told "No."
But if its 'just for fun' than its entirely up to you whether the risk is worth the potential reward than the 'friends' should whine a little and move on. Sounds like basic peer pressure to me XP
But yeah, it shouldn't actually matter. It's yours, you said no, that should be the end of it. Your having good reasons for saying no is almost not even relevant, and anyone calling you a bitch for that ought to look in a mirror.
