Hey everyone!

I'm groggily typing this out after a few hours rest from my all night flight back from Hawaii. So much stuff happening around the furuniverse, both good and bad. Looks like it's going to take me a while to get caught up.

On Starblade's death. I didn't know him but I know I've had online contact with him a few times before. I really didn't realize he had the long dramatic history he did until the news of his death broke. It's sort of sad to see it takes something like this comes front and center after a tragic loss.

Antheria: Unfortunately the con was at the same time my long-planned vacation so no attendance by me. The hotel snafu was unfortunate, but I've still heard a few good things about it. Mayhap I'll check it out next year.

Dogbomb: Very nice to see FA honor  dogbomb with a banner. That was a pleasant surprise for a very deserving individual. Unfortunately, furry being what it is it is, it sounds like it's started a tempest of jealousy. I'm not ready to go out and nominate him for sainthood or anything, but it's pretty obvious to me that he's impacted quite a few people in the fandom in a positive way. I really look forward to meeting the guy at FC.

Journals/Submissions: Very little checking of FA while on my trip and I've got a huge backlog of journals and submissions. They'll probably get nuked unfortunately, since I'll be really busy with work until FurFright. Hope no one takes offense.

The Vacation? All I can say is AWESOME! I took my dad along on this one and I could tell he had a great time. Right now I look like someone who spent a week in Hawaii. I'm tanned (burned along the edges), my hair is a mess and I'm currently spotting that beachbum scraggily look that you might associate with a homeless person. After my color gets back to normal, I'll probably lose my soup kitchen beard in favor of being more comfortable when I suit at FF. So those who strangely like that appearance -- yer out of luck!
