OMG! Less than a week away from the latest in a long line of furry madcap happenings! Here's what to expect from your 2014 closeout model bear:

1) Arriving Thursday afternoon, unless United decides to delay, slice, dice, or puree my flight.
2) Leaving Sunday night unless (see above in reverse).
3)  dieselrottie is going to fly up and be my keeper for the weekend. Please pray for him.
4) Staying at the O'Hare Hyatt thingy place. Hear it's kinda nice.
5) After careful consideration, Hunt will be the one making the trip. Wanted to take Bjorn along too, but lugging 2 critters to the airport at stupid o'clock in the morning just doesn't sound like a lot of fun.
6) What am I going to do? Probably some or a lot of the following:
a) Fursuit
b) Eat
c) Drink - finding that delicate balance between caffeine, alcohol and water.
d) Poker! I understand there's some folks that play the game there?
e) Panels! I actually plan to partake in a few this year.
f) Ingress! DrGrafeldr/Enlightened/LV 6/AM01-CHARLIE-13. Don't know what any of that means? Come to the Ingress panel to find out!
g) Explore as much as weather and transport will permit. Want to try to hit a Second City performance while there if anyone's interested?
h) Most important of all, meet new people, spend quality time with good friends and generally have a great time!

I'm looking forward to this trip. My first ever to Chicago and first ever visit to a cold weather city in winter. If you see me just stop me quickly with a "Hey Bjorn". Always like meeting new folks!
