I have a journal of a Muslim Indonesian Rock band that does a song speaking out against religious hatred and terrorism, its not preaching or anything and the lyrics are very much non-denominational so you take a look at it first here to see if you like it and maybe post it you like: http://www.furaffinity.net/journal/1749875/
thanks and may God's peace and blessings be upon you my friend :3

It'll Be Fun!
Read Romans 8:28-30
Jesus said, "Happy are those whose greatest desire is to do what God requires; God will satisfy them fully."
-Matthew 5:6 (TEV)
"I don't want to go to school," my child whined.
"Aw, come on. Maybe it'll be fun!" I answered hopefully.
Eventually we were loaded up and on our way. The complaining continued -- then abated. But it resumed as we pulled into the school's driveway.
As I drove away after the drop-off, with the car quiet at last, I wondered about what I had said: "It'll be fun!" Why do we so often try to encourage one another with "It'll be fun"? Is the desire for fun our most important motivator? I don't want to teach kids that something has value only if it's fun.
Fun is fine, but is that all there is? What about the thrill of discovery, the pride of accomplishment, or the bond of friendship? What about developing social skills, exploring how this amazing world works, and exercising both mind and body? What about learning kindness, faith, justice, and love of neighbor? More importantly, what about seeing opportunities to glorify God, to serve with the gifts God gives us? I wonder how we would experience life if we entered each day anticipating the good God is going to do. Perhaps it would be fun. I don't know. But I am sure it would be meaningful, enriching, and fulfilling.

O God, we love to have fun. But show us how we can be joyful even when life is not fun. Amen.
