Okay I got to write a short essay about myself : 3 how old I am, about me, my hobbies, etc

how long should it be? you cant cover a lot of text with an essay like that^^ but this is how i would start:

Mein Name ist Andrew. Ich bin 21 Jahre alt und komme aus <insert name of place where you come from here>.
Meine Hobbys (we write hobbies with a "y", too) sind Zeichnen und Malen, darin bin ich auch sehr gut.

what other hobbies do you have? and what else do you want in there?

I need to be as formal and basic in my german as I can without any local german dialecs, cause the professor said " hed know if it wasnt what we learned accademically"

haha, yeah thats true^^ he would notice right away.
what you have there is pretty good already. one thing though, we dont write out any numbers after twelve. it would be bad if we did because most numbers are figgin HUGE in german if you write them out! X3
i think you should be perfectly fine if you keep it up like that. you basically wrote the same things that i would have written!
what else do you want to include? i cant really give an example of what to write if i dont know what you want to include X3
