yea we know but they dont have the cash for a new one and I am saving up like hell so I move out of this town, but every one has new laptops but me and my dad so they think we dont need a new desktop.

yea it is old I think they got in 2002 back when it was new.

Sorry, I can't really offer any advice on this that could help.
If it's 8 years old, it's still usable, but I don't think you should expect it to go much faster. A newer video card could help, but the rest of you computer may hold it back.
Of course there may be ways of getting more out of it, but it would probably cost more then buying an new computer.

The oldest computer I had that's still usable today is from 2006. An old XPS 700, but I gave it away many months ago.

well I think I got it now thanks from the info I got on the forum and a fur I know in SL that login to YIM last night, I already went back to the store and got the right one.

oh and the desktop I am use came out in 2006 what HP shows
