fuck the fa forums. They started a lot of unessecary shit for me earlier this year...mainly the reason why I left for a while, since the admins were all stupid 2 year olds.

I think you are trying to be a positive influence, now more then ever. You've had a rough history with the admins heck you've butted heads with a few of them from what I know, and I need not list some of the stupid things you've done in the past. The question that must be asked:

Have you learned from all this?

I think you have, and maybe someday the admins will too. Until then don't let it get to you, continue doing the greater good here.

That's really your only problem, you let too many things bug an annoy you, if you learned to take it with a little more stride I think you'd be able to make compelling and correct methoods of getting your point across.

That's just the way I see it, yes it's unfair that you're forum banned, but you are. On the plus side SammyFox got banned from there recently.

Personally. I avoid the Forums just to stay away from a lot of drama. But you need to just give it time, and everything will eventually roll over.

I don't know quite how to put this, but, if you like the FA forums enough to make numerious journals complaining about being banned from them, there's only one thing you can do. I'm not suggesting that you completely change your composure out there, but you must be more civil about things, no matter how people wind you up. You'll have the admins on your side if you keep calm and collected, hopefully. If you do rant directly at people, you're only proving how much you've been annoyed, and that can be made even worse if an admin decides to act upon your exposed annoyance. =/

To summarise, just chill, k? =P As I said before, nothing's worth getting annoyed about on the Internet, and especially not on the FA forums.

Glad it was only the forums, but... Well, part of me thinks that there's more concern here about personal pride of some admins than the site itself. Kinda scary. I'd hate for this place to be like Deviantart, where you have to worry about getting banned for posting an irrelevant journal.

As long as people think letting you back in means just waiting for you to launch another drama-bomb, then there's no good reason to let you back in.

You're obviously making an effort, and that DOES count for something (you're still here, aren't you?), but you also keep slipping and doing shit that you know there's no good reason to do.

You know what you should do and what you should not do, now all you need to do is ACT on that, and show that you've learned.

Well... I have left my thoughts on the forum. I argued for a "readily accessible, transparent, and *open* way of expressing our concerns about administrative decisions, without fear of resentment, reprisal, closed threads, or bans." And in the poll, I voted that your ban should be reconsidered.

Now, in return, I would like to request a few candid replies from you:

What do you *gain* from confronting people on the fora? What do you gain from pointing at people who are, at best, deeply eccentric, or, at worst, deeply sick? Do you think you can change their minds or their lives? Do you think that others cannot recognize already just how deeply screwed-up these people are?

As long as they are not in power, as long as they are not openly preying upon others and wrecking lives, why should their weirdness be of any real concern to you?

Every human being has issues and difficulties, so why not concentrate on your own issues, on your own difficulties, for the sake of your own life?

Whatever your reasons were, evading your ban probably hurt your chances of making an appeal because it shows you don't really give a shit about the rules when it comes down to it. Bottom line, Vegex does what Vegex wants to do, regardless of what he's been asked or advised to do by anyone else, be they Admins OR good, helpful, well-wishing friends.

I've tried to help you out dude, to the point where I've already been accused of showing you favorable treatment. You know what is expected of you, and what gets you in trouble. Stop doing what you KNOW is going to get you in trouble, and show people that you can keep that up for more than a day or three.

That's all there is to it.

Vegex, at the risk of sounding like a broken record (ancient metaphor -- sorry!) I would like to elaborate on this.

Many of us have stood up for you, out of respect for your work, for the potential shown by your art, and for the good that we have sensed in you. And now, in return, I am asking you to stand up for yourself: to show a bit of self control.

Self control is not obedience to some external authority, but allegiance to your own best interests and to your own best principles. Self control is YOU, yourself, determining your own best values, your own best priorities in life, and then following them -- never blindly, never by reflex, but with a regular questioning of your own motives, and a regular observation of the effect your actions and words have upon other people.
