Murrsuits - Acceptable or Not?
I couldn't think of a discussion to post this time, so I took an idea from a comment that was left in our last journal entry. I've seen a lot of mixed views on this.
Murrsuits, also known as "sex suits" are sometimes seen running about conventions and other public places. Do you feel this is acceptable? Do you feel that washing the suit makes it acceptable? Feel free to discuss.

FA+

Where as regular suits dont have any of that.
or is PROPERLY cencored by pants, not thongs, then in my opinion there should be no problem with them at all.
Because if you take those factors away it;s just a fursuit someone still paied alot for.
Same goes for nipples and tits on suits,
Just cover it up properly without going bikini style.
Which is disgusting if I plan on hugging them.
I don't want to touch sexual fluids :I
I don't want lice and nasty things from unclean people >:U
All over them.
It's that fact they has sex in the suit, and then they walk around like it's no big problem.
I just don't agree with it.
I don't care if people go and do what they want it bed, but when you bring it into the public, it becomes an issue.
As for my 2 cents, What people do behind closed doors is no issue so long as its legal/moral. And as long as its clean n covered, i see no problem.
Keep in mind fursuits can't be cleaned the same way clothes can. The fur has all those little fibers and backing in it that can absorb bodily fluids and would have to be scrubbed (not just rinsed) out. What if the head and the bodysuit have foam in them that just happens to absorb some of those bodily fluids? You can't really wash foam very well and if it's seeped far enough into a suit, you are not going to be able to wash it out completely no matter how hard you try.
That is assuming that most "murrsuiters" actually WASH their suits of course. I've heard rumor that people only "spot clean" them. Ugh!
This is where it falls on whether it's acceptable or not in general. A lot of people (as indicated here) just simply don't want to be touched with those things. It's nasty and we don't want bodily fluids, or the possibility even, of them touching us! What people do behind closed doors is there business as long as it doesn't hurt anyone, but please keep the sex suits there!
In public? Ugh, bunch of attenionwhores who do that, thanks to such people, the fandom turned into a fagdom.
If you commissioned a second set of parts for it, then be my guest
I don't want to touch your jizz covered fursuit.
Not to mention you shouldn't EVER EVER EVER go outside in a fursuit you had sex it. I don't give a shit what you do in your suit, but FOR SHITS SAKE, if you plan on going to cons and walking around outside, PLEASE get an alternate one so people wont touch your disgusting fur.
AND KIDS
KIDSSSSSS
Come on, you're a giant fucking animal and you're going around by KIDS.
Murr suits = NO with kids. That's just sick.
It's not acceptable at all.
It's downright disgusting.
I don't want to touch people's bodily fluids or whatever the hell they're going to mess around with and get on them selves. Not even if they wash it 50 times, it's that fact they still did that crap inside the suit.
Keep that shit at home! Washed or not it's still fucking nasty.
Like anything else you do in the bed room is your own private business. You don't need to flaunt it around in public. Even if the suit is washed/covered properly, some people will still be uncomfortable with being anywhere near a suit someones had sex in.
are the ones that give us clean furs a bad name...like on that one episode of NCIS or NSI or wahtever its called.
everyone that watches whatever show that played on thinks that all furrys are murrs and thinks were disgusting.
so in my eyes no. it is not acceptible. also no id rather not see one in public, or have to touch such a dirty thing. its gross.
unacceptible.
-from a female furr -
They got one? Cool, just don't take it out in public. Something like that should be kept in privacy.
Get another one if they like to perform in public, something small and cheaper, like a partial. They're going to a convention where everyone knows what those suits used for. Personally, I would not hug the person.
Would I hug a mursuit? I would. I'm hoping they're a normal human being and clean it before a con. But in the end, I wouldn't know anyways unless they told me.
That said, murrsuits are disguisting and if you own one, hey man, power to you, but DO NOT FUCKING GO OUT IN PUBLIC WITH IT.
Like... uuuugh. Keep your nasty SPH's at home bro.
Bawwr can't type.
If you have a seperate body and parts for public use, go right ahead.
Keep out of reach of children.
Wouldn't put anyone down who did tho.
I have a normal fursuit and there bad enough just walking around in. In regards to being hot and stuff.
I think it would be just to hot to have sex in one, and it not my thing to wear one.
These are also unacceptable to wear at a con outside of your room.
What you do in private is none of anyone's business. But taking your murrsuit out in public where you could interact with other people and children...that's just wrong.
Murrsuit, something for the bedroom only. Really, it's a giant sex toy you wear. SAVE IT FOR THE ROOM. PLEASE.
Aaaaand that's my opinion on the matter. =3
Like I said, I've never seen a fursuit with strategically-placed holes. Ever. Not to say they're not out there (I've seen a photo of one, once) but...are they ever seen in public areas at cons? If one shows up, I say tell the wearer in no uncertain terms to put it back in their room. They come out with it again, ban 'em for the rest of the con.
A few years ago, some guy posted to my local Craigslist. He said he was a furry who'd just moved to the area, he had a crotchless fursuit (a purple panda!) and liked to run around in public parks wearing this. He asked others with crotchless fursuits to join him. After a bit of digging, I found that this same exact "I just moved to <local city>" ad had been posted to Craigslists across the whole US - it was a troll post.
I was always told that if you see a full suit with pants on, don't go near it because there is probably a S.P.H under there. I doubt that's true in all cases but better safe than sorry I guess. I've also talked to several people who said they look up fursuit sex videos on Xtube so they can identify exactly who they need to avoid while at cons. It's a good, though really gross, idea.
I'm pretty sure that "rule" only goes for full suits with clothes, not partials. :)
I've hug a murrsuit.. dident have a problem with it. Smelled like any other suit I 've been close to.. .. Looked like any other suit I've seen.. And I wouldent have know unless I had gotten him drunk enough for me to ask him.
