What is this thing

As for the site, I didn't join it earlier because I didn't know what it was at first. I had heard of it, but I thought it was just another Fur site starting up. That was confirmed when the first pictures I saw on it were phonographic.
What's the fascination here, I was thinking, haven't they already seen pictures like this when they found their dad's Hustler magazine under the car seat, and then got over it a couple of times later?
What is this thing, this penus? It's only a few square inches of meat that sticks out like a sore thumb, with a hole in it, what's so exciting about such a tiny little area, when we have bigger things like the chair you're sitting on, the room that you are in on that chair, the house that the room is in, the street that the house is on, the city that the street is on, the country that the city is in, the planet that the country is in, the solar system, the galaxy, the universe!
What is the big importance then, of this tiny little thing, this penus. Aren't Furries supposed to be close to Sci-Fi, thinking big, about new and different things, and here all it comes back to is this tiny little thing, with a hole.
Maybe that hole represents the unknown, and often the unknown is feared, and that's where the tension lies, and that makes it exciting.
What is this thing, this penus, tiny, sticking out and given such a high value for its size, like a diamond. Diamonds are just clear carbon, very common and yet people worship them, because we are taught that we should, right? Why worship a body part, or a diamond, both are interesting in perspective, and only a lifestyle to professionals, right, scientist is into the diamond, and a doctor likes the penus, right?
I must excuse myself, then, by barking, '..but to each their own.'

Consider that.

You don't have to type it in at the bottom.
Ha, I'm so used to signing everything right here
I'm a Pyrenean Shepherd
Deal with it!
Delusions do not dictate DNA
No
Furry is a sexual fetish, deal with it.
I also noticed it in others who would do non-anthro Dog pictures, they would have anthro in them too, especially if you could tell that it wasn't a direct copy from a photo. I have a greeting card with someone's painting of a Dog named Cookie, not a totally pro artist yet, and it looks like a Dog but it's very anthro, and I've kept that card forever because it was such a good example of anthro-enhancing a Dog.
I think it's something that every artist probably does, whether they realize it or not. Here's a link to some of my early drawings, from right when I was just starting to get the anthro idea. http://boomerthedog.net/drawings/index.htm
Good to meet you really.
Enjoy your stay, you seem nice enough.
I try to always be nice, and happy, but many people just think I'm just a crazy pooch!

Unless it's those jerks who draw FAT BUNNIES. God I hate that. HATE HATE HATE. *foams at mouth*
Aside from that, welcome to FA, you seem like a nice dog :)

You the dog.
What I do understand, I accept, whether I like it or not.
People are confusing. You can take it for art, or you can be disgusted. It doesn't matter. People like what they like and I have no reason to hate (or like) them for it.
I'm more concerned about the person themselves and how they behave and socialize. I'm more concerned about ones' intelligence.
Maybe something that should be brought into this is that what gets someone yiffy is pretty well ingrained in who they are, it's not something they can really control, from what I have learned.
Yes I do believe in taking folks the way they come, and they don't have to agree with me, which is actually good because I can learn something that way. Intelligence is good, and I think the quality that someone should have is to be nice above all else. That's a quality that goes with lots of other virtues to make a good personality I think.
Laugh and have a nice day!
BTW, i still love ya for WKND and what you have done for the pirate radio community.
That's cool, a Border Collie from Grand Island. I have a close Fur friend who is a Border, and is intense and energetic, Hobnose in Indiana. The pirate Action Radio used to talk about Grand Island, and maybe claimed to be broadcasting from there, I'm not sure.
I'm actually still in radio, I made a couple of shows recently. One of them was me barking about the name change, but it wasn't heard because of bad propagation. I'd been out of radio for a while, but got back in when they were discussing the the name change story. I even have ideas for an improved Grenade transmitter, and I hope that I have time to work, woof, on it soon.
Cool that you made the connection with me here Collie!

yes, fucking is part of life, it's how we as humans continue to exist, but, just because sex is life doesn't mean you need to let the whole world see it daily
guys, he isn't saying sex is bad, he is just tired of seeing porn on the front page the first time you log in, as am i
'Get a room' that reminds me of a con where we were barking that to each other in the group, and it was so late we had the giggles.. :)

eh, i'm trying to get back into that hobby, i really want the ICOM-pc5 or whatever it's called, i have the money for decent powers ones just to lazy to do it because god fodbid i mount somthing on the roof of my dad's house
I don't know about the newer Grundigs, I just use my old DX-440 from Radio Shack. If you're away from a big city with all of its powerful broadcast transmitters, and you have a good antenna like a dipole hooked up, you should be able to pick up the broadcasts on most any of the little radios.
I've heard Outhouse Radio, but only through recordings some DXer put up on Mediafire. One station I get a lot is WBNY with Commander Bunny, the voice of the rodent revolution, and I heard Radio Ronin once. You might want to listen to Wolverine Radio, they get out all over, with a good antenna, a powerful transmitter or both.

"oh, i can draw smut!" you then say "well, fucking is part of life, think about that for a minute" yeah, it is, but normal people don't fuck where everyone can see them, IE. you normally don't see 2 naked people fucking on a bench in the middle of a park.
i wouldn't want to see that, so, you guys can have sex all you want, post porn all you want on FA, but, the phrase to best describe this!
"get a fucking room"
