Got Questions?

I hope
SMSFoxx doesn't mind... But I'm rather bored, and I liked his idea, so I stoled it *gasp*
So yes... I'm bored... and feeling open right now.
Got anything you're interested to know about me?
Doesn't really matter what, I'll do my best to answer any questions that come up. But I'm curious what you people would like to know, if anything.
Ask me anything! Go ahead, I... Well... I can't say I don't bite... But I only bite a certain someone, so you're safe ^_~
On a side note. I still plan to do those free sketches for those on my list. But I've got a lot going on right now, so they're on hiatus for the time being... I'll try to complete them over time when I get the chance to!

FA+

For the type, it all depends. I listen to most kinds of music, so I usually depend it on whatever inspires me at the moment.
ok.. that was like two questions but meh
Aside from drawing, I used to be a writer as well. I've always loved crafts too... Like making jewellery, sculptures (usually miniature animals and such), sewing, and whatever else I could get my hands on.
I'm also a gamer, though I dont play as much as I used to, lack of time and all. When I can though, I'm a big fan of RPG's, Strategy and Simulation games, Racing games, and some shooters and fighters ^_^
Hehe, I was also something of a chocolatier from my home! I love making candies and chocolates, and used to make all kinds of things for people.
To quickly list the rest, I also love hiking/camping, dancing, and working with animals XD
Homemade chocolate covered cherries (the fancy kind with stems and the creamy filling) are awesome XD
Also, homemade jewelry is always fun. :3
Ooh, I was also famous for my Fudge in school (yes, yes... the puns! oh the puns...) so I was constantly pestered to bring more for people, lol
Jewelry is fun! I especially love working with bells, wire, and gems!
It was pretty, but it broke... and I left out the gems when I remade it because I was lazy.
If you were interested some time, I might be up to getting back into making things... its been awhile, but it was fun ^_^
As for what I want, I'm thinking somewhere between an ankle bracelet or a necklace.
I dont think I'll ever be one to sit and sell stuff at conventions... no art tables for me! I'd much rather spend all my time having fun, and if someone asks for a commission when they see me doodling, then I might line one up for after the con, or do something quick like a sketch.
Yeah they can be dangerous, but they're also so much fun!
I've only ever been on the back of a bike, but one day I actually do plan to get a motorcycle license ^_^
and speaking of bikes, Im currently the owner of of a Kawasaki ZZ-R1200 2002 Galaxy silver. dont have a redy link on hand but if you google it, youll see it
What's this treat you speak of? *ears perk up* Hehe
Sounds potentially tasty! and I have a MAJOR sweet tooth!
if you have some sort of messenger I can give you all the directions for it
I love to hear feed back on it when its made... oh and warning... when cooking It will fumeagate the room if not house *or appartment* and make normally unedable objects smell edible

Feel free to harrass me ^_^
Some people have made it big, and by doing something they enjoy, simply by knowing the right people, or even having things happen that just work out to their advantage.
But no one can really rely on that... and of course some occupations can only be succeeded in with the right education (if one wants to be a school teacher for example)
In another sense, some people can spend a fortune on schooling, and not get where they want to go.
I've seen schooling help people blossom, and I've seen people regret it... so I believe its very individual
Some people almost see it as a "right of passage" like how high school is seen these days... Which I believe is very misleading.
To some it is necessarily, to others it can be a hinderance
Star Ocean, specifically 1 and 2. One of my favourite stories, and the characters and game design are awesome. The customizations are a lot of fun, and they're just plain addictive.
Zelda. I'm a huge Zelda fan... While I haven't played all the games (haven't played the gameboy/DS ones, and I dont have a wii) I've loved the characters and Hyrule since I was little and first got hooked on Link to the Past.
Final Fantasy (mostly 7 and 9). Stories, characters, graphics, structures... 'nuff said, lol.
Sim Games! Sim City, Sim Ant, The Sims... Why? Because I adore simulation games where I can build things up, then tear them down in horrible ways XD (made a human zoo in The Sims... and my laugh must have been rather maniacal when they all died horrible deaths)
Ummm... bah, there's too many I want to list still, so I'll leave it at 4, lol.
Those actually landed in a fairly accurate order, top being highest... But they do shift a lot depending on my mood, and there are other individual games that could slip in their as well...
*indecisive... and ranting*
Cheetahs, eagles, wolves, tigers, and dolphins are some of my favs...
Not actually too sure what my favourite to draw is though. I suppose just felines in general.
You know what animal needs more anthros done of it? PLATYPUS! They're awesome, and I have a platypus character from my stories, just need to get around to the actual drawing...
-Jir
I dont get around to art much, so when I do my list of projects tends to attack me...
But I often like having a trade here and there to liven things up a bit ^_^
Hehe XD
pwned XP
next time I'll win, tassy XD
I have no idea, never really watched game shows. Unless... Can Reality TV Shows count?
If so, then: Hell's Kitchen!!
I loved that show so much. Though I only saw the first season (which I watched passionately), so I have no idea what it's like anymore.
I like music from all genres, and I dont even have a favourite band, let alone song, lol
Good question though
I used to be a writer, so along with my drawings, I had planned out entire worlds, which I created page after page of character sheets for.
Though characters I spent a long time on, and actually really worked on their personality, backstories, etc... Probably closer to 20 (I'd have to stop and count)
Characters that are a part of me, and representing something about myself: 8 (at least that I put a lot of focus into... I wrote/drew others that I gave up on)
Ok, a couple questions. First one, you've got some wonderful art; are there certain pics though that you won't show, and if so, what would be the reasons for doing so?
Secondly...those of us who've watched you a while know that you dye your bangs, which are cute by the way, the turquoise is a lovely color. Anyway, I'm curious as to how lengthy a task that is for the areas you dye, and if the colors change anytime. :3
Hopefully, it's alright to ask two. I may have more later on. It'd probably be easier to reach you another way to do that, just not sure how right now. ^^
It's usually because the picture is something I consider too personal in one aspect or another.
The picture could be something Very emotional. To the point that showing it, would be showing a very vulnerable side of myself, which is something that screams "bad idea" in my mind, lol.
Or it might be personal in what it depicts. As you can see I don't post pron for example. It's not that I never draw it (though in most cases its not finished, only sketched) its just that its something I consider personal.
I answer questions about my sex life when people have asked, but I'm not one to boldly display it for all to see, lol (since most drawing of that nature are based off *cough* things that have actually happened)
It's a tedious task, but a rather quick one, and one that only needs to happen every month or two.
Generally its about an hour and a half of me hogging the bathroom. I do it all myself.
It just consists of mixing the bleach and applying to areas. Waiting about 45 mins till they're as white as they'll go. Rinsing in the sink (easy for the bangs... rather awkward for 'other areas' since it requires a strange form of squatting over the sink LOL) then towel drying.
Then the turquoise dye gets applied, waited for, then showered off, and voila! Bright hair!
I've dyed my hair all the colours of the rainbow, but I've really grown attached to turquoise (which is more of a blue/teal when its fresh) and it's basically become my signature colour.
1. Exactly what fetishes do you have? I've always been curious of that.
2. Did you know
3. Have you considered moving elsewhere within or out of Victoria? If so, where?
I heard Etchy was in town! But I only found out recently, and wouldn't have the foggest idea how to contact.
I'm actually new to Victoria. I'm originally from Nanaimo (and a small island off its coast), and in recent years I have also lived in Duncan and Calgary.
I came to Victoria this last January, and I moved here for my mate. It's a nice city, I'm glad I came here. I don't know if I'll move from here, that mostly depends on whats best for my cub now. If I do move though, it would be back to Nanaimo if anywhere... Nanaimo is still my home.
Glad you're living your life in Victoria, though ^_^ Hope you plan to visit Vancouver someday.
My suggestion is the CHQ (Command HQ, it's an arcade) in Metrotown. It has two DDR Extreme, one DDR SuperNOVA and ITG2 Revision 2.1. I thought I'd tell you this since you and I dig dance games so much. That, and I need an excuse to get out and exercise. xD
My phone's also available for contacting if need be.
Though that only works well because of trust in that aspect. Good relationships FTW!
And... is that a Triforce earring I see...? o.o
I don't actually have triforce earrings *pouts* but you can bet I would pounce on them the moment I found a pair!
I'm a Link fangirl, lol ^_^
I'm a Link nut myself. Been a Legend of Zelda fan since 1992. That's why I have the name Mikau. :3
Gosh, we have another thing in common... I guess we're cut out to be friends.
Oh, and Fallen? x3
How's you? Long time no talk!!
Sweet your kid is talking, when does he start schooling?
It's good to hear that things are working out for you guys, I can't imagine how hard it must be to run a family.
It feels so weird to think my child will be in school soon... As it is its still shocks me sometimes to think that I have a child, lol
Seriously... Thats it... I dont do any fancy layering, or effects... I just attack my colours with Dodge and Burn set at a very soft brush, on low opacity. Playing around with whether its set at "highlight" "midtones" or "shadows" is also fun.
Of course all this is for photoshop... I don't use any other program.
think I should?
First off, personality-wise I've always known I was feline. That comes from many different aspects, ranging from thoughts and preferences, to attitude (many have pointed it out to me too, ever since I was a child)
The cougar specifically, is a little more on the spiritual side. I've always felt a strange connection to the animal, one that showed itself through a few interactions over my life.
First one being an experience I had in a forest where I grew up... I would type it out here, but its one that I actually don't tell many people. In fact I can only think of a couple people I've actually described it to.
The other I have told though, which was my encounter and petting (without permission) of a cougar at a zoo. My contact with the creature had an amazing impact on me, with the energy I felt from him. That was before I really clued in about being cougar.
I believe in reincarnation, and I believe that spirits aren't necessarily tied to a specific form... Though I don't know enough about myself spiritually yet to really say what I believe in regards to me... But through meditation over many years, I've actually been looking at the therian side of things.
But however I may be spiritually, cougars still have a strong impact on me. They are a teacher, a guide, a guardian. They are part of me, whether that was by choice or not.
Cougars were never really my favourite animal. If I chose my "fursona" based on that, then I would be a cheetah or one of my other favs... But looking back on my life, so many things happened that kept telling me there was something more to the animal. As soon as I realized it, it just felt right... like everything clicked into place.
I've been furry all my life (to say I've always known what I was, and referred to myself as such, but I didn't know of the actual community till I was around 14)
To be honest though, before Otter, I had a weird connection with Wolf that sounds a lot like yours. I've never actually encountered a wolf, though; just in fiction, once in Omnimax and Never Cry Wolf of course. (But it never made sense to me that I'd have a totem animal; my mother's family came from Aberdeen, my dad was born in London!)
So you're not the only person I know who feels some sort of connection to a species; not even the second person, come to that. I suspect that it's more common than furries let on.
BTW Tassy, I admire you for being so forthcoming about yourself. I'm not sure if you're brave or just have lots of self-confidence, but being so open about your feelings, your body, your experiences and knowledge... It can't be easy, it's something to admire about you. It turns out that there's a lot to admire about you!
I suppose my parents were actually a big influence in my spiritual beliefs. Both of my parents were furries (though knew not of the community.) My dad saw it as more of a personality thing, and a guide/teacher, and called himself a Lion from it. My mother was more spiritual, seeing her inner self and spirit as being a dragon.
My father was part native, and in his later years he really focused on what that meant to him. My mother was a very spiritual/new age type person, and was always teaching me and helping me discover my own beliefs of spirits and the mind, and other such aspects of life.
As for your last point... I've taught myself in recent years to be open about myself, though naturally I'm horribly shy, so it is really hard for me.
My opinion of myself, is well... to put it lightly, I have a strong dislike of myself.
As for working at being more open, I'm sure it will get easier with practice. Especially since all of your feedback seems so far to have been positive. So far so good, eh?
Apparently people had things they wanted to know about me, lol
Silly people o.o
I'd ask something myself, but anything i could think of will most likely have been asked five times by everyone else by now, so i'll just read for a bit =b
Some say they wouldn't because of the social issues it could cause, but I believe it would be worth it. Besides, those that cared about me enough would stick by, even if I looked half-cougar, lol.
But emotionally and spiritually, it would be amazing to turn into my fursona. The physical benefits would be great too, with the heightened senses and physical agility!
The only thing is the method of being my fursona... becuase if it were through surgery for example, and they were to start offering surgery to change people, I wouldn't jump on the gun as a guinea pig. Not until Enough people had successful outcomes to see it as safe enough, lol.
;) You picked the words outta my mouth. :)
