It was pulled from Disney archives as the context of the movie was considered "racist". Mainly due to the black man's grammar and education level, but this was the correct historical portrayal of a southern black male from the time period it's supposed to be.
From this, Disney says it never made Song Of The South and the park is actually removing Thunder Mountain from the parks and changing the ride, and if you own this movie and work for Disney, under contract, they have the right to make you give them the VHS.
I do love the movie though :)
