We missed having a Thanksgiving pot-luck this year, but we're not going to miss Christmas! Saturday the 4th of December, 4 p.m. until whenever o'clock at Mudgeon's. Last year I was pretty tired and zombie-like through the whole thing; I'll try and get enough sleep ahead of time, I promise.
So start calling out what you're planning to bring! You don't have to make a huge dish to feed everyone - believe me, there will be left-overs. If your dish needs a quick warm-up in/on the stove or microwave, no problem! But if your dish needs a lot of preparation and cooking time... we had stuff last year that never got touched because it wasn't ready or arrived late. Ready-to-eat stuff is preferred.
If three or four people want to coordinate bringing a whole lot of soda and chips, that would make my life easier! (Even better if we can coordinate dropping off the the soda at least a day before the event, so I can cool it in the fridge.)
**If you have folding chairs, bring them!** Also, I have lots of plastic cutlery already. Don't worry about plates and stuff, I'll cover that. Does anyone have a whiteboard we could use?
Console gaming will be in the upstairs computer room - there's a 27" CRT tv. (Unless the guys with the LCD projector attend this year - anyone know if they're coming?) Anything goes except DDR. For music - if you need to hook up anything, just ask, as not all my equipment's set up intuitively. (I'm also interested in raiding folks' mp3 collections; mine is tiny.)
One small request: If you're throwing out a cup, can or bottle that's still got some liquid in it, please empty it in the sink first! Otherwise clean-up from last year was a snap. :)
Gift exchange! This is something we do each year. **Participation is optional.** We know that a lot of people have a tight budget, but if you feel like it, find something for no more than about $15 and wrap it up anonymously. Then we'll do an exchange thing. Actually - does anyone have a good idea for a game or method we can use? In the past we've used the pick-an-unclaimed-gift-with-up-to-three-steals game, but it would be nice to try something new.

Hmmm 25min out of town on #5(?) isn't too bad but the deviation and then a ride home too eh?
What part of town is the gathering going to be? I have not yet been to this furs home. Will look at the froum for details maybe there is a fur in about the end of the city closer to you and or the meet.

Music...Will bring lots of music and some nice personal compilations to share.
Thinking of doing the same thing this year for the gift exchange as I did last year. Do some needle work for the person who pulls my name from The Honorable Head of Ol' Furry, Decemberween, Hog Father or other such gift giving icon. ^^
