Hehehehe! Well first thing to do is decide who you'd want to draw for you. That by far is the hardest part. At least it is for me... Then just gotta see if they're available to do some work for you. It's not hard at all. Just gotta talk o the artists. I've not met one mean one yet. ^^
Oh yeаh х) I know what i would like, but i saw some commission price lists from few artists and was а bit sad that they are closed for yet. Lol, as my hubby says commish yourself! It's chiper and purely ХD But i dont wanna pay myself 15 bucks it s stupid х)
Heh. True.. Many are closed but there are just as many available. I could possibly look up a few if you like. ^^
heh. Commishing yourself may kinda defeat the purpose. And i dunno how youd pay yourself anyway. Though... Drawing for yourself, just for the fun of it shouldnt be bad. Heh. I do that all the time. Most i dont post tho. XP
tandemonium is my fav. She's got really cheap prices, and can do so many different styles. I have three commissions from her and they are all done in a different style. I like her. Check it out.
If you dont mind spending more monies then rarakie as also a very good artist, just a bit more pricey.
It would be awesome ! ^.-.^ Well, I didnt draw for myself for а long time х.х Maybe it s time to do it :3 Hey, why dont you want to upload your art? :3 I would like to see it :)
Random bit of advice: Not to make you paranoid, but it can be a good idea to check an artists reputation before entering a business transaction. I also check out my commissioners, I've never had a problem, but there are a few people out there that are best to avoid.
I like to Google a person's username to find out more about them, you can also check Artists Beware on LJ: http://community.livejournal.com/artists_beware/ Just make sure to read both sides of the story if someone does have a problem with an artist/commissioner/etc, sometimes they're not the one at fault, or it's just personal vendetta or something silly like that.
Again, not trying to make you paranoid, it's just a good idea to know who you're working with.
There's a lot of good advice on the topic if you've never commissioned someone before: http://www.google.com/search?hl=&am.....;&sa=X&ei=eHLsTLOiLpCLnAfyhpmIAg&ved=0CBMQvwUoAQ&q=how+to+commission+an+artist&spell=1&fp=34b91cc4462aa6c1
If you'd like to start out with some smaller, cheaper commissions to test the waters, a place like teenycom on LJ is a good place to look: http://community.livejournal.com/teenycom Everything is $10 and under, sometimes you can find some pretty nice stuff there.
Thank you so much for sich usfull advices ^_^ I am really "beginner" in this area and just wanna try it :3 Also I would like to have some picture from you, cause you`re one of my favorite artists ^^ I`ll try to make it after holydays when I`ll have enough money.
Yes, I have a paypal account ^^ As I noted everybody use it, so decided to have my own too :3
