Was hoping for a reinvigoration of my furry spirit and was a little let down. Got to see

and

again, which is always lovely and I met some neat people (

) etc.

This being my hometown con was a disadvantage, seeing as how Rosemont is in the middle of nowhere. It was hard to party when I had a reasonable expectation of sleeping in my own bed. Responsibilities complicated things anyway.

Now I'm just looking double-forward to FWA next year. 'Ta!

I think FWA is one of the best cons. I won't be attending anymore though, too much time and money.

i just flew into Chicago yesterday for an extended Thanksgiving stay and had been tempted to bump the flight up a day or two. Thanks for retroactively un-tempting me, i guess! FWA's really gathering momentum and it sounds like a lot of folks whose company I enjoy will be there.

I know what you mean about the re-invigoration of the animal muse: my interest is a wave pool. 6 months ago i was like FUCK YEAH FURRZZ IM GONNA UPDATE MY FA JJOURNAL EVERYDAY AND COMMISSION A BUNCH OF ART and then two weeks later, ain't no thang. I just hope you keep doin Go Ye Dogs!

Went last year, not impressed. It's like, you're in Chicago, so what do you do? Hang around inside a hotel all weekend and NEVER LEAVE EVER. It could've been fun if it weren't for the con.

Also, don't think it'd take much persuasion to get me to FWA.
