Happens from time to time that people ask me for commissions thinking i'm the artist (despite that I don't upload anything to my gallery to prevent that). And if not that, they ask me if the can commision ZC -_-. (In other words, bugging the friends of the artist won't help either :|)

Of course if someone really wants to commission me, guess I should let them. Especially if they really like stick figures.

I usually tell them that they should contact you directly if they want something, and that you still don't take any commissions.

May I ask why not?

Several reasons. I have terrible motivation. I can barely draw what I want, nevermind what someone else wants. Money doesn't seem to be a good motivator. Even if I'm fairly motivated, I'm unreliable and unpredictable. The last time I took commissions as a test, the pictures took me anywhere between two hours and over a month to finish. The longer it takes, the more stressful it gets, and I don't handle stress well. And I'm terrible at saying no. If someone asks me point-blank I'll end up debating it, because maybe THIS time will be different, and this seems like an interesting subject, etc. Laying down a blanket NO and then thinking about it afterward acts as a defense mechanism.
