Ditto with Death Note. Most of CLAMP's works are pretty great. The manga I'm currently bothering to follow are xxxHolic, Neon Genesis Evangelion, High School of the Dead, and Mirai Nikki.

i was thinking of picking up a copy of xxxHolic, and I liked the Card Captor Sakura anime.
i also bought one volume of the Evangelion manga, but since I already watched the anime, i stopped buying em. I watched the whole first season of the HSOTD anime, i cant wait for new episodes!

Well, the manga of Evangelion really goes off the rails into it's own plot, so it's worth looking into if you like the whole "what if?" alternate universe thing. As for xxxHolic....if you start following that series, you also need to follow Tsubasa Reservoir Chronicle (which is finished) because they're two parts of a bigger epic story thing.
