So last week was MFF, and boy do I miss it. I had a lot of fun, though getting there was a little stressful. We took the train, which was no big deal, but then when we go to the train station, we had to go outside and walk a few blocks to get onto the subway, which actually wasn't too bad...except that I over pack shit and it was heavy, and i brought cookies and lugging them through the subway station and onto the train was a bitch. I travelled with my boyfriend, and love of my life  renfox and his friend Eric, who is awesome. Once we arrived at the hotel, we went up to our room and got settled in, and went down to the reg line, where we ran into our good friend  varzen and I got to meet  sputnik_rising who is really, really cool. We chatted with them for what seemed like fifty years (the pre-reg line was a mile and a half long at that point.. :/ ) but had a good time. There were people singing Queen's "Bohemian Rhapsody" in the line, and that was fun. We also had the chance to hang out with  PurraParru and  Vebo. I love them. :) After Reg, we ordered pizza and it was AMAZING! but we couldn't finish it so we shared pizza with Varzen and his friends and they shared booze. <3 We also ran into  Damaron and  TesxaCoyote and fed them pizza and cookies too. Had a good time, but then we hit the con, wandering around before it was bedtime.

Friday, our friends showed up, and Ren, Eric and I got lunch with Steve and Kevin and hung out with them for a while, then  Jonkeykong showed up and we ran off with him, and went to a few panels and hit the artist alley where I got a badge done by  Ignatius_Husky for a boobhat.. :) and talked to Purra and Vebo for a while again, and talked to  Ted_Ursus too. We wandered for a while, went to a panel or two and got another pizza because they are delicious. Ran into  Rayes a few times that day too, he's really nice. :) Friday evening we had some drinks at the bar (which costed a million dollars) and wandered around, and I finally convinced the boys that we should walk through the scary, unlit walk way to the convention center (they didn't want to.. but did anyway) and there were were old cars there, and the boys were thrilled. Afterwards we hung out with some folks and wed to bed.

Saturday, we hung out in our little group for the most of the day, spent a lot of money on I don't know what.. Got a badge from  BlondeVelvet18 for the cost of lunch, and then got that laminated. It was awesome. Ren commissioned  Rhia for a demoman fox thingy and he is very excited to see how it turns out, and I bought a few stickers from various artists. Then it was about 3:00 and Ren's Sister (who is not a furry and had no idea we were at a fur con) came to pick us up for lunch (she lives in chicago) We went to lunch at the Ram Brewery and it was delicious.. omgbeercheesesoup. Then we went back to the con, walked around with our friends, ran into some more and then then it was time for the 2 and Kage charity hour.. and oh god it was great. I think it was over around 2ish, and was hilarious and we wandered around for a little while, and then went to bed.

Sunday was kind of a bitter-sweet day, we had an amazing weekend, but we knew it was ending soon. We packed up our room, and took our luggage down to the bellhop and went to breakfast with Jeff. We went to Pancakes Eggseterea or something, they had a cute little train that drove around the restaurant. We went back to the hotel and said our goodbyes to jeff, and headed off to Artists' Alley to pick up my badge from iggy, and say goodbye to our friends. There we ran into Eric, Steve and Kevin and wandered with them for a while, went into the dealers den and then played apples to apples. (It was my first time, and I'd love to play again!) After that, Uncle Kage was having a panel about talking to your families about being "furry" that we went to because well.. it was Uncle Kage.. lol Then it was time to go, we took the shuttle to the airport, walked through the airport to catch the subway, walked to the train station and once there, we settled in, and the boys went to forage for food. Seriously, those boys are amazing. Ren brought me back the popcorn that I had been craving since last year.. haha and went out of his way to get me bubble tea from one restaurant, Chinese food from another when the boys went to McDonald for themselves. They came back, we ate really quick and got on the the train. The train had some malfunctions and we didn't get back home til 12:20ish. I went out to my car to get it and pick the boys up, but when I got there, the stupid thing wouldn't start. So, we had to walk back to Ren's apartment (which wasn't too far but I was very, very upset and angry) Eric carried my bags for me because he's amazingly sweet and we came back, jumped my car and then we were set. Eric is awesome, just so everyone knows. Then we went home, I dropped Ren off at his parents house and got home to mine about 3:30am. I was very tired.. and I have still not caught up on the sleep I feel that I needed from the weekend.. haha.

All in All, I had a great time, thanks to all the new friends I made, and to the old ones that I got to see! If I didn't see you, I'm sorry and we will just have to do it again. I hope everyone else had as good of a time as I did. I can't wait til April! Hope to see you all at FCN.
