This is how I roll...

This is the beginning of my Journal.
Just thought I'd see if anyone is as awesome as I am...When I check the new submissions, I immediately click on the invert selection button. Then I click on the button to get them to go away. Then I try to click on one of the submissions, it's typically the most interesting one on that page, but I let my subconscious decide for me. Best way to browse the subs.
Do you have a method? Do you just click on the red borders? Do you just click on the colored ones? Are you as lazy as me and not clear out your watch list when artists start posting pics of themselves or sketches they did in math class on lined paper or adoptables?
What's the method to your madness?

I'm recieving WAY more submissions than I have time to look at.
I go at it pretty straightforward. Click the ones that look boring and delete them. Then, click the ones that look the most interesting and mark them as I go. The ones that I want to look at later, say i'm stewing on a comment or i don't have much more time than to glance, i'll just leave them there until I get more time to really look at it.
I tend to delay faving some works in order to cluster them together. This most often happens with adult pics that happen to appeal to my sense of aesthetics (doesn't make up a majority of my fave gallery, surprisingly)--they get faved in a group, then other G-rated faves are placed atop them so they're pushed off the userpage. I do look at past entries in my faves every so often.
It takes me a long while to decide whether to watch anyone nowadays because of what I described in the first paragraph. Most of the time I'll fave a piece and every so often use that entry to tour the person's gallery to see if they're trending in a direction that will make me want to watch. Some artists are on a "mental watch", in which I haven't added them to my list, but I remember their names well enough to visit their user pages every so often and eventually decide whether or not to watch them.
I very rarely unwatch artists...one was for making porn boring, another was due to a failed art trade (I did my half, she didn't). The last ones I did were for folks who had basically abandoned their accounts (no uploads or comments in more than a year or two). The next one at risk of being unwatched is also for making porn boring...her characters (even commissions) look like porn stars with too much eyeliner/eyeshadow, artwork posted as gigantic .PNG files that are a pain in the d*ck to view. I rarely click on her uploads anymore for those reasons.
2: I even then only LOOK at maybe 3 or so?
3: Toss the rest
